The plate is lost during a session
Checked with app version1.0.63· Last updated
Stay on the plate and wait a few seconds. The app reconnects by itself, and your session is not lost.
What the app does
When the Bluetooth link drops in the middle of a session, the gauge gives way to a message.
- We lost your Entralpi The app is already trying to reconnect. If you were in a hang, the clock stops and the top bar says Paused. If you were resting, your rest goes on; if the plate is still away when the next hang is due, the session waits for it.
- Your Entralpi is not answering After a few seconds without an answer, the app keeps searching and offers you two ways on (below).
- Your Entralpi is back The plate answered. The app counts 3, 2, 1 and the session goes on. You are not weighed again.
A hang that was cut starts again from zero: pull again when the count ends. A hang that was already finished is kept.
What you can do
- Wake the plate. It sleeps when nothing stands on it. Stand on it with your full weight.
- Check Bluetooth. If the message says Bluetooth is off or Entralpi can't use Bluetooth, see The plate does not connect.
- Change the batteries if it keeps dropping. The plate runs on 4 AAA batteries.
If the plate stays silent, the screen offers:
- Continue without the plate: the rest of the session runs on the timer. Those hangs are not measured.
- End the session: in a guided workout, the app asks you to confirm. A workout with at least one finished hang is saved, marked Left early. A test is not saved: part of a test gives no usable result.
During a test, and during the first pull of the welcome setup, only End the session is offered: both need the plate to mean anything.
What is saved
The hangs you finished before the drop are kept. In your history (Profile, then Activity History) the session carries a grey line under its name:
- Partly without the plate, when some hangs were measured;
- Without the plate, when none was.
A hang that was not measured shows a dash where its force would be.
